Job summary

Mt. Olive Pickle Company Inc. is seeking a Night Shift Cutting Machine Attendant at the Main Plant to operate cutting machinery, conveyors, and pumps. You will regulate flow, inspect products, and record line metrics throughout the shift.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and fluency in English for tasks and safety procedures. Training will cover safety rules, equipment operation, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English for job tasks.
• Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and fractions required.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting machinery, conveyors, and pumps to process relish, salad cubes, chips, strips and whole pickles.
• Monitor and regulate flow of pickles from hopper to cutters and ensure correct cut product.
• Record downtime, number of workers on lines, and bushels processed daily.
• Inspect product after cutting; evaluate texture and quality of cut products.
• Select samples for quality checks and separate defective items.
• Complete downtime sheet daily and follow safety rules and policies.
