Job summary

fairlife, LLC is seeking a Night Filler Operator to join our Chicago-based production team. You will fill containers, maintain machine cleanliness, perform testing, adjust equipment, and ensure GMP compliance on the filling and capping lines.

The role requires attention to safety, quality, and documentation, with a rotating 2-2-3 schedule and weekend work. The position is Non-Exempt with base pay and eligible for bonus.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety procedures and GMP guidelines.
• Able to troubleshoot minor line issues and seek supervision when needed.
• Proficient in written and verbal English communication.
• Able to operate filling/capping equipment after training.
• Works well in a team and follows escalation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, working, and GMP rules.
• Observe machine operations to ensure product quality and conformity to standards.
• Weigh and inspect products to meet specifications.
• Stop or reset machines and report malfunctions.
• Supply filling equipment with caps, sanitizing chemicals, and bottles.
• Monitor the production line for jams or problems and address them.
• Record finished and rejected items and escalate issues as needed.
• CIP/clean the filler and surrounding area and maintain audit readiness.
• Coordinate with QA to ensure product quality.
• Aid in training of new personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
