Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms seeks a Feed Mill Utility Associate in Collins, MS to support housekeeping, safety, and inbound/outbound logistics at the feed mill. You’ll help with cleaning, traffic control for trucks and visitors, and assist in receiving feed ingredients while following company policies and animal welfare guidelines.

The role requires reliability, ability to work nights/weekends, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete required logs and forms.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, irregular, and extended shift hours.
• Ability to follow detailed processes with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping procedures in the Feed Mill and perform grounds maintenance.
• Control access of staff, visitors, and trucks; verify credentials and coordinate routes.
• Inspect and log inspections for incoming/outgoing trucks; assist receiving feed ingredients.
• Adhere to safety policies; wear protective equipment and support zero-accident culture.
• Assist in emergency protocols and report discrepancies promptly.
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
