Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Danville, AR, is hiring for a night shift Warehouse/Receiving Associate responsible for unloading ingredient trucks, inspecting materials, collecting samples, and maintaining stock integrity.

Responsibilities include operating the auto-receiving system, coordinating with production, performing routine equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with FSMA, FDA, GMP, and safety procedures. Previous feed mill experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to perform basic math functions (i.e. proportions, percentages, area, volume, etc.).
• Possess basic computer knowledge and usage abilities.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to communicate effectively, and read and write legibly.
• Possess sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Operate auto-receiving system and unload incoming trucks.
• Inspect incoming material and verify condition against documents.
• Collect feed samples per sampling plan.
• Rotate stock and prevent storage overflows.
• Communicate batching schedules to maximize production efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine cleaning of equipment.
• Operate forklift when required and report malfunctions.
• Adhere to FDA, GMP, QC procedures and safety policies.
