Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a Feed Mill Utility Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. The role involves processing visitors and trucks, handling receiving duties for feed ingredients, and assisting in emergencies.

You will support in adhering to Animal Welfare guidelines and company policies. The position requires the ability to work nights, weekends, and extended shifts, with the flexibility to perform various facility tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license and meet MVR requirements.
• Ability to complete required logs and forms.
• Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping procedures in the Feed Mill and conduct grounds maintenance.
• Control access of staff, visitors, and trucks entering the property; verify credentials.
• Review and log inspection paperwork for trucks; direct traffic and coordinate routes.
• Understand basic animal food safety and personal hygiene related to animal feed.
• Follow safety policies and wear required protective equipment.
• Assist with receiving duties of feed ingredients when required.
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
