Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Feed Mill Utility Associate to maintain cleanliness and safety in the Feed Mill and yard. The role includes controlling access, logging truck inspections, directing traffic, and assisting with receiving feed ingredients.

You will follow safety standards and PPE requirements while supporting emergency procedures as needed. Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and extended

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, strong attention to detail, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license and meet MVR requirements.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping procedures in the Feed Mill and grounds maintenance.
• Control access of staff, visitors, and trucks entering the property; verify credentials.
• Review and log inspection paperwork for incoming/outgoing trucks; direct traffic.
• Understand basic animal feed safety and personal hygiene as it relates to the protection of animal feed.
• Perform daily cleaning of the Feed Mill facilities and grounds.
• Report issues/ discrepancies with logs, trucks, etc. to appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety protocols including wearing PPE where mandatory.
• Assist with receiving duties of feed ingredients when required.
