Mercy is hiring an entry-level Facility Systems Technician I to learn operations for HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical systems. You will support hospitals and clinics, learn to use basic tools, and follow safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with focus on learning operations for HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical work.
• Requires basic knowledge and willingness to learn safety procedures and equipment regulations.
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent and some trade training.
• EPA certification, NFPA 80, UL standards are part of preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating, maintaining, and repairing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems.
• Learn and follow safety procedures to maintain a safe Environment of Care.
• Support various facilities in hospitals and clinics, using basic tools and knowledge to troubleshoot equipment.
