Job summary

Amentum is seeking a 3rd shift Facility Maintenance Technician III to support Clayton, OH operations. Typical hours are 3rd shift, Mon-Fri 10:30pm–7:00am, with potential weekend work and on-call rotation to support 24/7 needs.

The role covers maintenance tasks, safety compliance, and coordination with contractors, ensuring facility systems and building standards are met. High school education and at least 3 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or demonstrated equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in the area of specialization and/or combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks reflecting substantial variety and complexity under supervision.
• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Review service requests for repairs and maintenance, determine nature of problem, and recommend solutions.
• Coordinate work with outside contractors and ensure codes/building standards are met.
• Perform repairs, modifications and preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, fixtures and systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility systems and equipment.
• Follow dispatched service or daily/weekly work schedules and document materials/instructions as needed.
• Assist in the movement of furniture, materials, and equipment and maintain safety procedures.

Education
