Job summary

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a 3rd Shift Facility Attendant to maintain clean, safe, and event-ready spaces for guests and staff. This full-time role runs 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM with weekend availability based on event schedule.

Responsibilities include cleaning, setup, guest service, and general operations while upholding sustainability and safety standards. You will work across indoor and outdoor spaces, handle waste, assist with setup, and follow

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Basic computer skills (email, schedules, timekeeping).

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Cleaning or facilities experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain clean, safe facilities including restrooms, floors, windows, and common areas.
Set up tables, chairs and event equipment for indoor and outdoor events.
Assist guests and support staff to ensure a welcoming environment.
Complete daily assignments and special projects, using schedules and diagrams.
Promote sustainability by proper waste disposal and minimizing environmental impact.
