Job summary

What You’ll Do
Maintain Clean & Safe Facilities
  • Clean restrooms, floors, windows, and common areas
  • Remove trash and maintain overall facility cleanliness
  • Use cleaning supplies safely and effectively
Support Event Setup & Operations
  • Set up tables, chairs, and event equipment
  • Assist with indoor and outdoor event preparation
  • Follow layouts and event diagrams accurately
Assist with Guest Experience
  • Provide friendly, helpful interactions with guests
  • Support staff in maintaining a welcoming environment
  • Respond to basic guest needs or direct appropriately
Perform General Operational Tasks
  • Access schedules, diagrams, and communications via computer
  • Support daily assignments and special project work
  • Complete tasks independently or as part of a team
Promote Sustainability & Stewardship
  • Use cleaning products responsibly
  • Dispose of waste properly and minimize environmental impact
  • Support organizational sustainability practices

Working Conditions:

This role operates across indoor and outdoor environments, including offices, public spaces, grounds, and event areas. Work is performed in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, humidity, and precipitation, as well as greenhouse environments. The position involves exposure to noise, cleaning chemicals, and other operational hazards. Tasks require frequent movement throughout the facility and may involve working in high-traffic or event-driven environments.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks throughout each shift. Responsibilities include lifting and moving items regularly up to 20 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally over 100 pounds. The position requires bending, reaching, kneeling, and occasional ladder use. Candidates must be able to safely handle equipment and materials while maintaining awareness of surroundings and safety protocols.
