Job summary

Sagchip is seeking a Building Maintenance Worker for 3rd shift at our Mount Pleasant, MI site. The role is full-time and on-site, with a schedule from 11 PM to 7 AM. Wage is $16.01 per hour.

The position involves maintaining a safe and functional work environment and handling a range of repair tasks across facilities. Responsibilities include drywall, tile, paint repairs, HVAC and plumbing basics, electrical work, furniture and window maintenance, and assisting with events.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in building maintenance, technical, manufacturing or similar position.
• Must be able to pass background check to meet employment eligibility requirements.
• Must have a valid Michigan driver license and meet insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Repair general building finishes such as drywall, tile, carpet, paint, ceiling tiles, handrails, molding, and baseboards.
• Perform basic roof repair and maintenance on HVAC units; basic plumbing repairs and electrical repairs such as light and receptacle replacement.
• Provide maintenance services to hotel guests and rooms for repairs to TVs, safes, furniture, curtains, and AV systems.
• Set up and tear down equipment for events; maintain logs and records of work performed and materials used.
