Job summary

Syner-G is seeking a Facilities Technician II to manage building and plant operations, including labs, utilities, and equipment. The role involves on-call emergency support, routine inspections, and regulatory/GMP compliance to keep facilities running smoothly.

The position requires collaboration with engineering, manufacturing and QA, with travel to client sites potentially up to 100%. Shift is 7pm–7am, 3–4 nights per week, and auxiliary tasks include PM/CM scheduling and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with technical certifications or military technical experience.
• 2–6 years of project/facilities engineering or related construction management roles.
• Facilities background and GMP/cleanroom familiarity is preferred.
• Strong collaboration, communications, prioritization and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate and oversee outside service providers for routine maintenance tasks.
• Support verification and maintenance with PIDs, HVAC, electrical diagrams and PFDs.
• Ensure corrective and preventative maintenance tasks are documented per SOPs.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies and follow facility emergency procedures.
• Work with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and R&D to meet facility needs.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time with minimal supervision.
