Job summary

Orca Bio in San Diego is seeking a Night Shift Technician, Facilities/Maintenance, to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across production sites. You will use CMMS to document activities and ensure GMP-compliant operations supporting clinical and commercial drug products.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years GMP facility experience, and the ability to work night shifts. On-site benefits include subsidized lunches and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or certification in facility maintenance preferred.
• 2 years of GMP manufacturing facility experience, preferably cell therapy/biotech/pharma.
• Experience using CMMS to manage maintenance activities.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of GMP facilities and infrastructure.
• Experience coordinating onsite maintenance with service providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform or coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and infrastructure.
• Coordinate onsite maintenance by service providers.
• Escort service providers in restricted access areas during maintenance.
• Review and approve service provider documentation; complete tasks in CMMS.
• Maintain documentation per company standards; ensure GMP compliance.
• Ensure facilities meet regulatory and GMP requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement of facility standards and processes.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests during off-hours.
