Job summary

Syner-G in Boston is seeking a Facilities Technician II to manage day-to-day building and lab operations, perform routine inspections, and maintain records to ensure GMP compliance.

The role requires coordinating outside service providers, supporting HVAC, electrical, and utility systems, handling emergency repairs, and collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, QA/R&D to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with technical certifications or vocational training.
• 2–6 years in project/facilities engineering or related construction roles.
• GMP cleanroom experience and familiarity with facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, and oversee outside service providers for maintenance tasks.
• Support verification and maintenance of PIDs, HVAC, electrical, and process diagrams.
• Ensure corrective and preventive maintenance is documented per SOPs.
• Coordinate and perform emergency troubleshooting on HVAC and lab/manufacturing equipment.
• Inspect equipment and utilities for wear, leaks, and abnormalities.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs for compliance.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies per facility procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, QA/R&D to meet facility needs.
• prioritize tasks and manage time with minimal oversight.
