Job summary

Kansas Surgery & Recovery Center is seeking a Maintenance/Security Services person to maintain non-medical equipment and the building, while performing security rounds to protect patients and staff. The role requires independence and strong customer service, with preference for medical setting experience.

The position is full-time with night hours (Thursday–Monday, 9:00 pm–5:00 am) in Wichita. Health, dental, vision benefits and retirement plans are available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Must be customer service oriented and able to adhere to mission and policies.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Previous experience in a medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain repairs and maintenance of non-medical equipment and building.
• Perform security rounds to ensure safety of patients and staff.
• Coordinate patient activities with nursing staff as needed.
