University of Kansas Medical Center seeks a General Maintenance Worker Senior for the Night/Weekend team. The role performs electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, responds to elevator and fire-alarm calls, and conducts preventive maintenance on emergency systems.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 3 years of maintenance experience, with preferred CMMS familiarity (Maximo) and trades knowledge in EHV/controls. On-site work at KU Medical Center campus with shift-based hours.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in general maintenance and repair.
• Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), such as Maximo.
• Trade skill experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs.
• Respond to elevator and fire-alarm calls; conduct preventive maintenance on emergency systems.
• Conduct routine building inspections and document shift activity.
