Job summary

MACOM is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Front-end of Week, Night Shift to support a 12-hour compressed work week in Lowell, MA. You will supervise production, coordinate technicians, manage WIP, and ensure safety, quality, and timely execution.

This role requires 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including frontline leadership, and a degree in Engineering or a related field. You will implement Lean/5S, support training, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 2 years in a front-line lead, supervisor, or shift coordination role.
• Ability to work off shift hours as business needs require.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred; additional hands-on manufacturing leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Support Fab performance metrics and daily operating discipline, including Safety, Throughput, Cycle Time, Yield, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Fab Engineering, Equipment, Quality, and Facilities teams to resolve daily production issues.
• Escalate production risks and align with Engineering, Business Units, Planning, and Production Control to meet customer and revenue commitments.
• Monitor WIP movement and support on-time delivery against committed schedules.
• Support staffing, onboarding, training coordination, and employee engagement in partnership with the leader.
