Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Extrusion Supervisor to lead daily extrusion operations, drive safety and quality standards, and supervise production staff. You will coach teams, monitor performance, and coordinate with maintenance and quality to minimize downtime and ensure on-time schedules.

The role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing leadership in extrusion or plastics, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in extrusion or plastics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety programs, and quality systems.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct extrusion personnel on assigned shift.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Monitor extrusion processes and equipment performance to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Train, coach, and develop team members on work practices, safety requirements, and quality expectations.
• Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate production goals and performance metrics.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance management, and corrective action processes.
• Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Material Handling, and other departments to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, OSHA requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports
