Job summary

WL Plastics Corporation in Elizabethtown, KY is seeking a Line Operator for the night shift on our extrusion line. The role focuses on operating, maintaining, and improving equipment performance while supporting a production team

You will monitor processes, perform minor maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document measurements. 12-hour shifts include weekend work, with a $21–$24 hourly wage and a $1 shift differential for night hours, starting wage may vary by experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Excellent communication skills required.
Reading, writing and basic math skills required.
Ability to use and interpret precision instruments, tools, and equipment.
Must work safely in a production environment; physically capable of tasks.
Good organizational skills and time management.
Adherence to Quality Policy and ISO 9001 procedures.
Initiative, adaptability and clear communication essential.
Regular, predictable full attendance required.

Responsibilities

Operate a production line as part of a team to support extrusion equipment.
Monitor processes, perform minor maintenance, troubleshoot and improve processes.
Adjust controls to achieve specified diameter and assist with changeovers.
Load hoppers, weigh and inspect extruded products for quality conformance.
Document machine conditions and product measurements; report changes.
Reel products, package, and move to staging for QC inspection.
Perform other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor.
Work 12-hour shifts, including weekends.
