Job summary

WL Plastics Corporation is seeking a Line Operator for Cedar City, Utah. The role involves operating extrusion equipment, monitoring processes, and ensuring product quality on a night shift. The position requires good communication, basic math, and safety compliance within a team environment.

Shifts are 12 hours with weekend work on a rotating basis. A shift differential of $1.00 per hour applies to night shifts, and higher wages may be offered for prior manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication skills are essential for team coordination and safety.
• Reading, writing and basic math skills are required for accurate reporting and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain extrusion equipment as part of a production line.
• Perform process monitoring, minor maintenance, troubleshooting and improvement.
• Report issues to Production Supervisor.
• Adjust controls to meet product specifications and run nights/weekends as required.
• Load materials, inspect products for defects and document measurements.
• Follow safety policies and participate in SHE procedures.
