Northwestern Medicine is seeking an EVS Tech II for night shift coverage in Illinois. The role is full-time (80 hours per pay period), with a schedule of 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

and alternating weekends and holidays. The position emphasizes cleaning, safety, and patient assistance in a hospital environment. Qualifications

• Must follow oral and written instructions.
• Must communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff.
• Must use the proper tracking and communication tools utilized by department.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of environmental services experience in healthcare or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains patient rooms, offices, public areas, treatment rooms, and other assigned areas daily.
• Follows policies on patient isolation and contact precautions as necessary.
• Stocks paper items and supplies in assigned areas as necessary.
• Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition.
• Promotes safety in the workplace using signage and PPE.
• Uses chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
• Notifies supervisor of equipment needing repairs and safety hazards.
• Communicates issues to supervisor and helps with scheduling as needed.
• Maintains professional demeanor and assists patients and staff with directions.
