Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Environmental Services Project Tech to join the EVS team at our Geneva, IL campus. Shift is 3:00PM-11:30PM with rotating weekends, delivering high-quality cleaning and restoration of floors, walls and patient areas to support a safe, healing environment.

The role requires 1-2 years of ES experience and the ability to read English; healthcare or hospitality ES experience is preferred. Benefits and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of environmental services experience.
• Must be able to read English and understand equipment manuals.
• Preferred: 1-3 years in healthcare or hospitality ES.

Responsibilities

• Performs restoration of hard surface floor care, including stripping and burnishing.
• Cleans patient rooms, surgical suites, and treatment areas.
• Operates and maintains department equipment safely.
• Ensures proper use of chemicals and PPE.
• Completes additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
