Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek Hospital is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to clean and sanitize patient rooms, public areas, and operating spaces while strictly following infection control guidelines. You will stock supplies, maintain equipment, and support safety protocols with the Environmental Services team.

This part-time role (32 hours/week) includes a 3rd shift (11pm-7:30am) with rotating weekends and holidays; no prior healthcare experience required but reliability and teamwork are

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or maintenance is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow safety and cleanliness guidelines.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, public areas, and surgical spaces as assigned.
• Stock supplies and keep equipment clean and functional.
• Follow infection control guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
• Provide excellent service to staff, patients, and visitors.
• Operate and store environmental equipment properly and report maintenance needs.
