Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital is hiring an Environmental Services Tech II for a 40-hour week, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM with every other weekend. The role includes cleaning patient rooms, public areas, and treatment spaces, while following infection control procedures and safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates maintain a friendly, professional demeanor, work with cross‑department teams, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Formación

• Must follow oral and written instructions.
• Must communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff.
• Must be able to use tracking and communication tools used by department.
• Must be able to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Cleans and maintains patient rooms, offices, public areas, treatment rooms and other areas daily, including trash removal and changing linens.
• Follows isolation and contact precautions as necessary.
• Stocks paper items and supplies in assigned areas.
• Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores properly.
• Promotes safety in the workplace and uses PPE and signage as required.
