Northwestern Medicine is hiring an Environmental Services (EVS) Tech II for Lake Forest Hospital. The role is a full-time night shift (10pm–6:30am) with every other weekend rotation.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, public areas, and treatment spaces, maintaining supplies, and upholding safety and isolation procedures. Candidate must follow instructions, communicate effectively with patients and staff, and work independently while contributing to a collaborative hospital

Qualifications

• Must follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff.

• Team player who collaborates across departments.

Responsabilités

• Cleans and maintains patient rooms, offices, public areas, treatment rooms, and other assigned areas daily.
• Follows isolation and contact precautions as necessary.
• Stocks paper items and supplies in assigned areas.
• Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition.
• Promotes safety in the workplace and uses PPE as required.
• Uses chemicals and equipment safely and according to labeling.
