Job summary

Banner Health is opening a new freestanding emergency department in Buckeye, AZ, offering 14,500 sq ft with modern diagnostic capabilities. The Environmental Services position cleans patient rooms and designated areas, supporting safety and a high morale environment for patients and staff.

Schedule is 20 hours per week, 12:00am - 4:30am, with two days off per week (non-consecutive). Responsibilities include daily cleaning tasks, waste removal, inventory, equipment upkeep, and occasional special

Qualifications

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interpret and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must read and understand MSDS and chemical instructions.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required for hire.
• Arizona Criminal History Affidavit required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks: dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, polishing per policy.
• Empty hampers, transport dirty linen, remove all trash and medical waste.
• Restock supplies across all assigned areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and log usage; report repairs.
• May perform special cleaning projects (windows, walls, heavily soiled items).
• Respond to questions from patients, staff, and visitors; aim for high customer service.
• Operate within assigned facility/area; serve internal and external customers.
