Job summary

Kettering Health Middletown is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift to deliver patient care using the nursing process in collaboration with other health care providers. Candidates must be licensed in Ohio as an RN; BSN is preferred (completed within five years). BLS certification is required; ACLS/NRP/PALS may be required by unit.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN or CCNE) if new graduate.
• BSN preferred, to be completed within five years of hire.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process in collaboration with other health care providers.
• Be accountable for professional development and practice within the scope defined by law.
• Act as a patient advocate for safe care, including delegation of care and participation in performance improvement activities.
• Deliver nursing care aligned with the KH Network missions, vision, values, and philosophies.
