Job summary

Endeavor Health's Swedish Hospital in Chicago seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department night shift. The role is full-time, 36 hours weekly, 7p-7:30a with weekend/holiday rotations. IL licensure, BSN preferred, and BLS/CPR certification are required or preferred as noted.

Qualifications

• IL nursing license required
• BSN degree preferred
• BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
• Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice
• Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high-quality patient experience
