Job summary

Endeavor Health's Swedish Hospital in Chicago is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department Night shift, full-time 36 hours per week, 7:00 pm–7:30 am with weekend/holiday rotation.

Requires IL nursing license, BLS/CPR, BSN preferred, 1 year hospital experience preferred. You will provide patient care, follow nursing process, guide unlicensed staff, ensure safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• Education: BSN degree preferred.
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
• Experience: Minimum 1-year current hospital nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
