HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital in Walterboro, South Carolina, seeks a full-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department night shift. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, using established nursing models.

Join us to influence patient outcomes and nursing practice. You will work with medical providers to assess, perform, teach, and manage patient care, while ensuring thorough documentation and compassionate care.

Formación

• ACLS within 60 days of start date
• BCLS within 30 days of start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 1 year
• Neonatal Resuscitation within 1 year
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 days
• Trauma Nursing Core Course within 1 year
• RN licensed to practice
• Associate/Bachelor degree or higher

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the provider and document care.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients/families/caregivers about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up.
• Advise on non-medicinal follow-up measures, such as diet and exercise, for future self-management.
