Job summary

HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital is seeking a full-time night shift Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with providers and the care team, using established nursing models.

Responsibilities include pain assessment, timely documentation, anticipatory patient advocacy, and patient-family education on conditions, treatments and self-management. Certifications within required timeframes are emphasized.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS within specified timeframes after start date.
• ENPC, NRP and related pediatric certifications as required.
• Proven ability to manage acute emergencies in ER settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain control.
• Document care accurately in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients/families about condition, treatment and follow-up.
• Coordinate with medical staff to deliver high‑quality care.
