Qualifications

Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 60 days of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 1 year of employment start date
Neonate Resuscitation within 1 year of employment start date
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of employment start date
PALS Pediatric Life Support within 60 days of employment start date
Trauma Nursing Core Course within 1 year of employment start date
(RN) Registered Nurse
Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

Assess patient pain regularly and promote pain management
Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered and document care
Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
Teach patients and families about condition, status, plan, medications and potential side effects
Educate on non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management
