Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS within 14 days of hire and before direct patient care.
• ACLS required before end of orientation.
• PALS or ENPC required before end of orientation.
• NIHSS certification required before end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Administers care to a patient population ranging from newborn to geriatric and uses a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to ensure nursing care appropriate to illness or injury.
• Prioritizes patient care needs based on patient assessment and implements a plan of care accordingly.
• Delivers care consistent with physician's orders and treatment protocols and hospital policies.
