Ardent Health Services in Henderson, TX is seeking a Night Shift Emergency Room Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our team. You will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities include prioritizing care, following physician orders, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements include Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and NIHSS certification before orientation. One year ED experience and two years acute care preferred.

• ACLS before end of orientation.

• UT Health Henderson features 41 operational beds, a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke ready facility with surgical suites, advanced diagnostic technology, a maternity unit, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, wound healing center and an AASM-accredited sleep center.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Degree in nursing from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required within 14 days of hire and before providing direct patient care.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required before end of orientation.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required before end of orientation.
• NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification required before end of orientation.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One year of emergency nursing experience
• Two years of acute care nursing experience
• CEN
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
