Job summary

Singing River Health System in Gulfport, MS is hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department night shift (15:00–03:00). The RN will provide bedside care using the Nursing Process, maintain ED certifications, and participate in the SRHS Nurse Residency Program for newly graduated RNs.

Prior inpatient experience is preferred. Requirements include Mississippi RN license, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BCLS; de-escalation training must be completed within 90 days of orientation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Current Mississippi RN license.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC and BCLS certifications required.
• 1 year inpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Must complete de-escalation training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process to improve health outcomes.
• Monitor, assess, and document patients’ conditions and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care.
• Maintain required clinical certifications and compliance standards.
