Job summary

Singing River Health System Gulfport is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7PM-7AM shift at Singing River Ocean Springs Hospital. The ideal candidate is a Mississippi-licensed RN with inpatient experience and current ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP certifications. De-escalation training is required by orientation.

The role emphasizes using the Nursing Process to assess and promote patient health, adherence to standards, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team within SRHS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification upon hire/transfer.
• RNs in specialty areas must complete ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and neonatal resuscitation certifications as applicable.
• A minimum of one year inpatient clinical experience within past five years or evidence of a refresher program.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process to attain, maintain, and restore health according to applicable standards.
• Maintain required certifications (ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP) for assigned specialty areas.
• Report to the Patient Care Manager and supervise LPNs, patient care assistants, and unit technicians.
• Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and clinical judgment in a fast-paced hospital setting.
