Job summary

Singing River Health System in Gulfport, MS is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift in Emergency Department Services. The RN provides patient care using the Nursing Process, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and adheres to the Mississippi Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.

New grads participate in the Singing River Nurse Residency Program; MS RN license and BCLS are required, with ACLS where applicable.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.
• BCLS certification required.
• 1 year inpatient clinical experience preferred.
• New RN graduates must participate in Singing River Nurse Residency Program.
• Must have de-escalation training by end of orientation (90 days).
• Must be able to work nights and pass competency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process according to MS Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals and families.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to ensure quality care.
