Job summary

Singing River Health System in Gulfport, MS, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a full-time night shift (7PM–7AM). The RN uses the Nursing Process in accordance with the MS Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and SRHS policies to deliver patient care.

New grads may join the Nurse Residency Program; must hold a Mississippi RN license and BCLS certification, with ED/ICU specialty certifications encouraged to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Current Mississippi State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BCLS certification required; ongoing maintenance.
• Specialty certifications listed: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, etc., as applicable to ED/ICU/OB.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process to restore health.
• Maintain required certifications for specialty areas (ED, ICU, etc.).
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork with care staff.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards.
