Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Iowa.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions in English.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS recommended.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, care planning, interventions and evaluation.
• Provide age-appropriate care across neonates to geriatrics with a focus on safety and compassion.
• Educate patients and families about medications, procedures and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care.
• Maintain confidentiality and advocate for patient rights and dignity.
• Demonstrate leadership in supervising staff and coordinating care.
