Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical units. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice; BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care/medical-surgical setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists and other staff to ensure quality care.
• Document nursing care and patient progress accurately.
• Provide patient and family education and support as part of care.
