Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse for the Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ. You will care for children from birth through adolescence in a 40+ bed unit during the NIGHT shift, using evidence-based practices and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (AZ).
• BLS certification required; additional credentials may be needed.
• Clinical experience in pediatrics preferred.
• Experience in acute care settings desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychosocial, and developmental domains.
• Plan and implement a comprehensive care plan in collaboration with the team.
• Deliver direct patient care and supervise activities of others.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Document assessments, plans, and outcomes accurately in the chart.
