• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management.
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about condition, plan, medications and follow-up.
• Translates complex medical terminology for patient understanding.
• Prepare patients for future self-management and healthy lifestyle changes.
