Job summary
Texas Health Huguley in Burleson, TX is seeking a full-time RN for the Emergency Department to conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate multidisciplinary care with physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists. The role requires strong communication and documentation skills.
A current RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP as required, and 12-lead EKG experience are essential. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Qualifications
- RN license required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS/PALS/NRP per unit requirements
- 12-lead EKG experience required
- 1+ acute hospital experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional health.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient needs.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care by facilitating collaboration among healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on outcomes.
- Communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure informed care.
- Document patient information in the medical record accurately.
