Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Summit, New Jersey, on a 13-week contract. The night shift runs from 7 PM to 7 AM, with holiday coverage as needed.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, document carefully, and provide age-appropriate care from pediatric to geriatric patients, aligning with patient safety goals and perioperative support.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Critical Care/Cardiac or Emergency Department.
• RN license required; BLS/ACLS required; PALS required for pediatric ER only.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and accurate documentation.
• Provide direct patient care in a team-centered ED setting.
• Maintain complete documentation aligned with nursing processes and outcomes.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and respond to patients and families professionally.
• Follow safety protocols including patient identification and safe transfer techniques.
• Tailor care based on procedures, anesthesia types, and changing patient needs.
