Job summary

FUJIFILM Biosciences in Santa Ana, CA seeks an Equipment Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain production, packaging, quality and R&D equipment, ensuring cGMP and OSHA compliance. This on-site role supports emergencies, may require second/third shifts, and includes on-call coverage with first-shift training initially.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma with technical training, 5+ years of maintenance experience, CMS proficiency, PLC skills a plus, and a valid CA driver's license.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent with trade/technical training.
• 5+ years in general facility production and packaging maintenance.
• Experience with CMS and reading electrical/mechanical diagrams.
• GMP environment experience; Pharma/biotech is a plus.
• CA Driver License with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Document maintenance/repair records in CMS.
• Install/maintain/repair/tune/ troubleshoot equipment per plan.
• Evaluate equipment to identify malfunctions and fix them.
• Repair production/packaging equipment; PLC experience a plus.
• Coordinate vendors/contractors and manage spare parts.
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs and weekend shifts.
