Job summary

LG Electronics USA in Clarksville, TN, is seeking a Nights EPS Operator lead to train EPS Operators on equipment and processes, diagnose mechanical issues, and monitor production quality.

You will mentor operators, update training manuals, and ensure daily performance targets while maintaining safety and efficient material flow. The role requires a high school diploma and 5+ years of EPS operation experience; occasional travel and bilingual Korean-English preferred.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years EPS Operation experience preferred.
• Experience in mentoring and/or coaching Press Operators.
• Strong understanding of production of complex equipment and system integration.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and evaluate problems.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing including machine capabilities and efficiencies.
• Bilingual Korean-English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train EPS Operators on equipment and processes.
• Assist EPS Operators in diagnosing mechanical problems and determining corrections.
• Identify training and development needs through regular conversation and observation.
• Assist Manager with EPS Operator performance reviews.
• Assist in development and update of EPS training manuals.
• Conduct visual inspection of production for defects per standards.
• Monitor product for quality issues and ensure daily targets are met.
• Operate machinery and adjust for product specifications.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Move materials to machines safely and efficiently.
