Qualifications

• EXPERIENCE: No specific length required, but evidence of training or experience must show ability to perform the duties.
• SCREEN-OUT ELEMENT: Qualifications evaluated against standards and job elements; eligible applicants proceed to rating.
• Physical requirements: continuous walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, pulling and pushing; occasional heavy equipment up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Executes a full range of housekeeping activities in patient and non-patient care areas.
• Performs floor maintenance and wall washing.
• Cleans doors, doorframes, baseboards, corners and stairwells.
• Periodically uses pressure washers and heavy industrial equipment.
• Transports general refuse and recycling to central collection areas.
• Cleans rest rooms, bathrooms, and showers to meet standards (disinfects and deodorizes).
• Restocks supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, soap).
• Moves furniture and bed-related items to accomplish cleaning tasks in assigned areas.
