Job summary

Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to clean and sanitize patient areas, offices, and common spaces. The role includes restocking supplies, following terminal cleaning procedures, and working a regular full-time schedule from 7:00pm to 3:30am.

The EVS technician will cross-train for different work areas such as patient rooms, x-ray, surgery, outpatient and emergency department.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning and sanitizing in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes rooms, wards, bathrooms, and offices.
• Must follow cleaning procedures and maintain supplies.
• Documents cleaning activities in monthly charts and patient room discharge cleaning forms.
