You will orient and supervise staff, assign daily work, monitor compliance with regulatory standards, participate on committees, and promote service excellence. A High School Diploma and 2 years in EVS, plus supervisor experience, are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in Environmental Services.
• One year supervisory experience in service industry acceptable.
• Thorough knowledge of Healthcare Environmental Services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise environmental services staff to meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assign daily work schedules and oversee timely, efficient service.
• Inspect discharge units, record discrepancies, and ensure corrections.
• Orient new employees and provide ongoing training per policy.
• Evaluate performance and counsel staff on policy and procedures.
• Be subject to recall 24/7 and support weekend/holiday operations.
• Manage hazardous waste handling and disposal in compliance with regulations.
