Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC is seeking an Environmental Services Specialist for the second shift (11:30AM-3:30PM), with four weekdays and every other weekend. You will set up cleaning carts, disinfect patient areas, and support hospital operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and non-clinical spaces, maintaining equipment, and following chemical safety guidelines. High school diploma or GED preferred; one year of experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to operate floor care equipment and follow chemical use guidelines.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Set up cleaning cart with chemicals and PPE per task.
• Clean and disinfect patient rooms and hospital areas to standard.
• Maintain and store equipment, report repairs, and recharge equipment.
• Understand spill kit use and chemical dilution guidelines.
• Move furniture and supplies to complete projects; assist with off-site cleanups.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• One year of experience preferred.
